If you keep up with me on Instagram, then you know that I often travel for work. Some people might say that traveling for work is awesome but truth be told — it can wear me out! Nevertheless, I try to make make the best time out of all of my work trips and I’ll usually carve out time to explore a new restaurant or museum.
While in Dallas a few weeks ago, I met with Maribel Morales (a fab Dallas photographer)! I scheduled a shoot with her and while we were talking, she mentioned I had to check out the Dallas Contemporary Museum for the Mary Katantzou exhibit.
All I can say is that going there was the best decision I made that entire day! The exhibit by Mary Katrantzou was stunning to say the least. Mary — or better yet known as the “Queen of Prints” is a designer who is known to blur the lines between art and wearable fashion. Mary’s fashion collection was brought to Dallas by Justine Ludwig, Deputy Director & Chief Curator at the Dallas Contemporary Museum, as a celebration of Katantzou’s creativity, craftsmanship and innovation in fashion.
