There is nothing I enjoy more than spending an afternoon with my favorite guy. He’s my best friend, my confidant, my partner in crime, my wingman, and so much more. So today, I decided to dedicate this blog post to my four-legged bestie, Rocky! And what better way to do that than to show you Rocky’s favorite parks (inside the loop, of course!)
There are plenty of reasons why Rocky loves Spotts Park. One of them, is being able to people watch. There is always so much going on that it can keep a young pup entertained for hours. Since Rocky is such a good pup, I usually take him off leash and we sit on top of the hill and check out the scene. Every now and then we take a break from people watching and play tug (it’s his favorite game).
Now this park is THE PLACE to be seen! It’s like going to the hottest night club in town. You must be dressed to impress and be ready to mingle! Rocky insisted on wearing his new shirt from Carrie Ann Boutique (she has the cutest collection of doggie clothes) and it’s perfect for this “posh” doggie park. The best thing about Johnny Steele, is that it separates the big dogs from the small ones. Which is perfect because Rocky tends to be a little shy when meeting large dogs.
West End Park
This park is so close to home, Rocky and I walk there pretty often. I LOVE the neighborhood park because it’s low-key and a perfect place to catch up on some reading or journaling. On occasion, Rocky plays wingman (or in this case, I guess it would be wingpup). Like today, we ran across some very cute boys playing football. Rocky, being cool as always, peeps them out for me then reports back LOL! No luck today, but who’s to say we won’t meet someone interesting tomorrow?
Check out Rocky’s adventures from today:
Until next time, Peace and Love everyone!
