Europe has been on my bucket list for many years. I’m not going to lie, I had been putting it off for a while because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Little did I know that the perfect opportunity would come along and one of my best friend’s would invite me on a trip of a Lifetime and I was on my way my first European trip!
Normally, I like to plan out my vacations and have some kind of idea of where I want to go, must see museums, restaurants to try, etc. But this time, my friend suggested that I try something that is out of my comfort zone and NOT PLAN ANYTHING!
I was a little hesitant but I trusted him because he’d been to Germany before, he had family there and he knew his way around. I was so excited to finally be going on my first European adventure!
One of the first things I noticed when landing in Germany was the architecture!
The other thing I also noticed and was NOT prepared for was the weather! I was not expecting it to be so cold in Germany! I’m from Guatemala and have lived in the south my entire life so anything below 70 degrees for me, is freezing.
Thank God I bought Winter coat from Topshop for just $25! I love a good Topshop sale! Lucky for you, I found a similar one on sale and it’s available for purchase. I posted the shoppable link below.
One of my favorite days in Germany was when we went to visit the English Garden. The sun was shining and people were out and enjoying the day. Corey and I walked around the entire park and we had beers, sausage, and hot wine!
One of my favorite things to do when I travel is sample all of the food! I mean, what’s the point of working out all the time if you don’t get to pig out while traveling? Here is a snapshot of some of my favorite restaurants:
I have to say, out of everything I saw and experienced, the best part of this trip was going with my best friend, meeting his family and friends, and seeing snow for the first time!
Thanks, Germany, I’ll definitely be back.
You can buy a similar Topshop jacket ON SALE now.
