If you keep up with me on Instagram, then you know that I often travel for work. Some people might say that traveling for work is awesome but truth be told — it can wear me out! Nevertheless, I try to make make the best time out of all of my work trips and I’ll usually carve out time to explore a new restaurant or museum.

My life as a single 30-year old woman is incredible (whoa, that’s a bold way to start a blog post) but it’s true, I have it all! I’m blessed with a career that I love, I have a great social life with friends who keep me laughing, and doing my #adulting chores are a breeze. It’s been about a month since I’ve had my dear friend bObi and she’s making single girl living– easy!
Sometimes it’s hard to imagine taking a runway-inspired look to the office, but Lizna’s collection has you covered. All her looks are can be easily modified to wear to the office. Some are ready to get to work right off the runway!
Austin Fashion Week 2017 kicked it off with a BANG this year! So many talented designers showed off their latest collections and wowed everyone. My first features for this 3-part recap post starts with Melissa Fleis and her perfectly structured collection. The all black design pictured below was one of my favorites. The structured jacket with popped collar gives us a real badass vibe and then check out the teal socks she’s paired with black strappy heels. The 13-piece collection screamed classic, edgy and dark all at the same time.

Does anyone else have a hard time deciding what to pack for a vacation? I have been hunting for the perfect outfits for my upcoming trip to Aruba and I was so excited when Tobi reached out to me to collaborate for some must have beach vacation looks. First things first, when traveling to the beach try not to pack too much. I usually tend to pick pieces that I can wear in many different ways like this top from Tobi.
Don’t you love that moment in dating when you meet someone new and you get butterflies in your stomach because the chemistry is THAT strong? Then, you start getting excited to talk to them every day and you make plans to go out but then without any warning, it suddenly STOPS.
I think everyone at some point has dreamed of going to New York City. Whether it’s to share a Sex in the City moment with your girlfriends or to sit front row during Fashion Week or just hang out in some of the coolest tourist spots you’ve seen on TV. When I first planned my trip to New York, I was expecting to be mesmerized by the city. I had my Fashion Week tickets in hand and was ready to have my New York City adventures.
Europe has been on my bucket list for many years. I’m not going to lie, I had been putting it off for a while because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Little did I know that the perfect opportunity would come along and one of my best friend’s would invite me on a trip of a Lifetime and I was on my way my first European trip!
It’s been a while since I’ve talked about my dating lyfe, and to be honest, I’ve decided to keep that part of my life a little bit more private these days. However, I must tell you about a new recent dating experience of mine- trading places.
2017 is in full swing and like many people, I too made a promise to myself to try to live a healthier life. For me, it’s not only about making sure I maintain the “sexy” but it’s also because of my new job. You see, I just started working for the American Heart Association and working here for the past few months has taught me that living healthy IS and SHOULD be the only way to live. Just because you are thin DOES NOT mean you are healthy. There are so many risk factors to when it comes to cardiovascular diseases. Oh, and not to mention that heart disease is the #1 killer of women (scary, but true).
